Key Mechanics
- Move Sets
- Usually highlighted in gray, these represent the tiles that a character can access with their abilities.
- Important: Move sets only show the potential spaces a character can interact with- whether for movement or other actions. To move to a tile, you must first select an ability. Clicking on gray tiles does nothing, the select-able tiles are usually marked in yellow.
- Types of movement:
- Dashes need a path (within the current move set) to the tile
- Jumps do not need a path to the tile
- IMMUNE enemies cannot be damaged or targeted
- If an enemy survives an attack, it will try to move away,
- If the tile it moves to is blocked, then the enemy will die no matter how much health it has.
- Tiles can be blocked by walls, gaps, allies, or even other enemies
- Use this as an instant-kill tactic
- If the tile it moves to is blocked, then the enemy will die no matter how much health it has.
- Villagers need to be protected to fulfill certain optional objectives.
- Villagers will try to move to the left-side if they are free
- If there is a Lurer on the map, the Villagers will be lured, meaning they try to move to the right-side
- If a villager is lured and touches any of the right-most tiles, they are instantly destroyed, and the reward for the optional objective is reduced (as low as 0
- The damage a tile will receive from all sources is shown in red
- Since the number is sometimes hard to see, hovering over a tile will display the damage
- (look under the "END TURN" button when hovering over a tile, it should show "X DAMAGE")
- Since the number is sometimes hard to see, hovering over a tile will display the damage
